This is not really a question but a serious warning!!!!?
My boyfriend and I bought a dogue de bordeaux puppy at Petland(yeah I know im an idiot). We paid 3000 dollars for the puppy but we fell in love with him right away so it wasnt a problem. Well right after we got him home we noticed he was sick so we took him to Petlands vet. Thats the only way to keep the pups health guarantee. So to save Petland money they told us the dog was fine. Well I knew he wasnt so I took him to my vet. Turns out he had parvo, pneumonia, and a severe upper respiratory infection. His fever was 106.7. Dogs start getting brain damage at 106.0. They treated him as a serious emergency case and put him on IV fluids and meds into his catheter. He was to stay at the vet office over night but the vet said he only had a 20% chance of survival. I wasnt home for 30 minutes when the vet called me and said the pup had stopped breathing. So I went to Petland and they told me sorry you took him to your vet.. nothing we can do… Save yourselves the pain Dont buy from Petland!
I would bring a lawsuit against them. Get the paperwork from their vet with the medical checkup and get the same from your vet.
Try bringing this to the store manager first, if they won’t give your money back then tell them you are going to your lawyer. Also, bring it to the attention of the local ASPCA, parvo is highly contagious and all the dogs there will more than likely have it.
